Greetings!
We hope you are all well and adapting to the many challenges of life in lockdown. It was good to see some of you at our Zoom FECS Coffee Morning last Monday, including new faces – we hope you feel at home soon. FECS would normally be organising all sorts of social fundraising events this term, including our annual Summer Fete. Instead, we have been busy thinking of ways that we can come together virtually as a community to support each other at this time.
So, for those of you who love a quiz … get some pizza in the oven and open a bottle of wine and join us for our Virtual Pub Quiz Night on Friday 8th May at 8.00pm. We are planning the ultimate boredom buster – and you don’t need a babysitter or a designated driver. We would love you to join us to share a laugh and maybe a drink from the comfort of your own living rooms – and if you’re new to the School it’s a great opportunity to get involved in our community. There’s no charge but we ask for a donation – whatever you can give can be put towards icing-on-the-cake activities for the children. All you need to do is book here. and you will receive a Zoom link. We look forward to seeing you – and no cheating!
And not forgetting … congratulations to Phoebe G who has won the prize for raising the most sponsorship in last term’s Swimathon. Well done and thank you from the FECS team!
