Exeter Cathedral School Raises £3,977.40 for The Wave Project

Exeter Cathedral School is thrilled to announce that our community has raised an incredible £3,977.40 for The Wave Project, our 2023-24 Charity of the Year.

The concert was a resounding success, with pupils showcasing their exceptional musical talents in the stunning setting of Exeter Cathedral.

Katie Smith, South Devon Coordinator for The Wave Project, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the school’s support: “Exeter Cathedral School pupils chose The Wave Project as their Charity of the Year, and from the first contact, both pupils and staff have been a joy to partner with.

The journey began with the children asking insightful questions during their school assembly and continued as we heard their rehearsals in January. Their incredible musical concert performance in Exeter Cathedral in March was a highlight.

We were privileged to join them at the end of term to learn about their various fundraising activities. These ranged from an ‘Express Yourself’ day to a challenging hike on Dartmoor. The enthusiasm and dedication of the entire Exeter Cathedral School community in supporting The Wave Project have been truly inspiring.

I cannot express enough gratitude to each and every member of the Exeter Cathedral School community for their commitment to The Wave Project.”

We are incredibly proud of our pupils and staff for their hard work and dedication to this worthy cause. The funds raised will make a significant difference to the lives of young people supported by The Wave Project.
