Our boarders are soaking up the sun!

The gorgeous summer weather has made this week even more exciting for the boarders. We were able to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities.

On Tuesday evening, we played cricket on the playground. The boys were extremely patient with me – we don’t play cricket in France – and taught me how to hold a bat properly and how to ball. Thanks to their suggestions and feedback, I managed to improve quite rapidly. This is the beauty of a school like Exeter Cathedral School; children learn a lot from their teachers but we, members of staff, also learn a lot from them. Big thanks to our lovely boarders.

On Wednesday, we had our evening meal in the sun on the playground. We had some music on and some of us even got into some very cool (or not so much) dance moves. After the picnic, Ms Baxendale organised a tie dying activity.

On Thursday, we went to Bull Meadow park to enjoy our last sunny evening before the weekend with ice lollies.

⭐️ Star Boarders

This week’s Star Boarders are Elliot and Harry. Two of our younger boarders, Elliot and Harry have been boarding once or twice a week this year. They have showed great attitude and behaviour. I am very proud of them and they fully deserve to be Star Boarders. Well done, boys.

🙌 Adventure Saturdays

Next Saturday’s adventure will take us to the picturesque quay for a walk and a picnic. If you would like to join us, please drop us an email at [email protected] and we will book a space for you.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
