Exeter Cathedral School Leads the Way in Online Safety for Families

This evening, we held our Online Safety Webinar for parents & guardians at Exeter Cathedral School. It was a success, with many parents in the webinar chat thanking the school for educating them on this vital matter.

One parent said “I just wanted to thank you for organising the webinar on Wednesday evening. It has been really useful already to have conversations with (our daughter) about online safety and it’s very reassuring that school are having these conversations with the children as well.”

As a school community we are focussed on better equipping ourselves in the world of online safety for our children, and passionate about this cause is Exeter Cathedral School’s Online Safety Lead, Cedric Baurance: “Ensuring the online safety of our pupils is of utmost importance. This webinar (provided) valuable information and practical tips on how to navigate the digital world safely.”

Exeter Cathedral School continues to encourage its valued families to talk about online safety together – to help them do this, the school has partnered with Smoothwall to provide a state-of-the-art Online Safety Hub, offering advice and latest updates on how to navigate the digital world as a family.

Despite the many challenges we face from the digital world, Exeter Cathedral School is leading the way amongst independent schools in giving the very best support concerning online safety for families with young children.
