Nature Club was buzzing after visiting Princesshay’s stunning City Bee Project, in collaboration with The Hive.
Created in 2012 as part of an environmental initiative, this project has become a rooftop garden paradise that now hosts 5 hives and 240,000+ honey bees, and it’s only a minute’s walk from Exeter Cathedral School!
We loved learning about the lengths bees go to to make Princesshay Honey, currently sold at Chandos Deli, and had lots of questions for Beekeeper, Trevor.
A big thank-you to everyone at Princesshay for making this school trip possible for Nature Club – a new club Exeter Cathedral School has introduced from Trinity term in response to pupil requests.
