Our first FECS movie night takes place this evening after school for the Pre-Prep children organised by Rachel Harrison and Jonathan Taylor. The event has been much more popular than we imagined as we have sold nearly 60 tickets! It’s set to be an exciting evening.
Our first general meeting of the year took place on Wednesday as well, where we welcomed Leontina Manzelli and Sarah Roman to the committee. During this meeting we agreed to fund the purchase of some Raspberry Pis and a Lego Booster kit which will be used in the ICT club and also more widely across the school. As well as this we also agreed to purchase a super camera phone for the science department that will be used to take photos in class and have the ability to instantly send pictures to the printer.
Finally The FECS Barn Dance is only two weeks away now and we have already sold a good number of tickets. If you’ve never been to a barn dance before or not sure if it’s your thing, then here’s you’re chance to give it a go! We’ve got some fantastic entertainment lined up as well as a hog roast and a honesty bar. If you’d like to purchase some tickets then please do so by Friday 5th October as we need to place our food order.
