Our AGM took place earlier this week which was kindly hosted by Mr & Mrs Featherstone in their drawing room. Last year FECS raised nearly £30,000. A large proportion of the proceeds have gone to funding phase 1 of The Chantry playground which will be installed during half term. Aside from this other donations have included upgraded items for the food tech room, picnic benches for the area outside of the coach house, scooter pods and library furniture for Hall House plus many more.
The committee members were also elected/re-elected, and the committee now consists of the following members for the 2018-2019 academic year:

Don’t forget that the FECS Barn Dance is taking place on 12th October in The Chapter House from 7-10.30pm. As mentioned previously this will be in place of the Christmas Dinner & Dance this year. Please help us by purchasing you tickets for this event.

Also the Pre-Prep movie night is taking place next Friday for children aged 4-7 years old, so if you still haven’t purchased your tickets please see Rachel Harrison (Hall House Rep).
Finally our first general meeting of the year is taking place next Wednesday in the Hall House library at 7pm. Everyone is welcome and it would be lovely to see some new faces.
