Last week’s quiz was yet another fabulous success with in excess of 40 keen participants taking part. A huge thank you to Jerry Rhill and Christian Brook for yet again delivering a highly entertaining night of trivia!
Today is Year 1’s turn to raise the stakes in the Hall House cake sale competition, for which funds raised will go towards the Pre-Prep department. Do come along and buy a cake or two at school pick up today. Also the Hall House scooter shed which was approved prior to Christmas has now arrived and will be installed over half term ready for the spring.
This year FECS have pledged to raise enough funds to acquire in excess of 20 new tablets for the Pre-prep, Music, PE & Art departments along with a mini projector for the PE department in order to enrich learning in these areas. With such a large project to fund we have already started planning some great events which we hope will be fun whilst raising money for a great cause.
In addition to this project the committee has also approved the immediate purchase of a new multi-games table for the boarding house, and some playground equipment for Years 3 & 4.
Our next event will be the Nursery and Pre-Prep movie night which is taking place on 1st March from 3.45-6pm in Kalendar Hall. Tickets are now available for sale on www.PTA-events.co.uk/FECS. Please note that children attending from Nursery will need a parent/guardian present in order for us to comply with parent to adult ratio requirements.
