FECS Letter 12th October

So the FECS Barn Dance is taking place this evening after weeks of preparation, and the committee is very excited to welcome those of you that can make it. We’ve sold in excess of 80 tickets and with some great entertainment, good food and drink we’re sure it’s set to be a fantastic night!

The Hall House cake sale will take place next Friday (19th October). Can parents/guardians of children in Hall House please ensure that their children have a few coins so they can be taken down to collect a cake with their class during the day. Cakes will also be on sale at drop off and pick up.

Hopefully you will also have seen the posters for the Christmas Fayre which is taking place on Saturday 17th November from 12 – 4pm.

Every year we rely heavily on everyone help us make this one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. We would like to start by requesting that children bring in donations for our jam jar tombola, bottle tombola and Secrets and Surprises tent. Further information about this will be sent out very shortly.

We will also be sending home an envelope with rafffles tickets to each family next week, and will be holiday competition whereby the class that sells the most tickets will win a special breakfast treat put on by FECS!

Finally, the Junior school (years 3-5) movie night is set to take place on the first Friday when we return after the half term break, Friday 9th November 4.15pm-6.15pm. We will need lots of parent volunteers to help us run this event, so if you’d like to help out then please approach one of the committee members or send us an email at [email protected].

We hope that those of you coming the the Barn Dan this evening have a wonderful time and that all of you have a great weekend.
