ECS Sport Update

Another week has flown by and it’s been another week of enjoying the outdoors.

As the boys continued their rugby campaign, the girls enjoyed some tag rugby, cross country and football. We even had some Joe Wicks sessions (I am still recovering) and also some Harry Potter yoga!

In PE the pupils have been focussing on developing teamwork. Fun games that focus on working together and problem solving. The pupils were very encouraging to each other and also showed their competitive side.

In the absence of fixtures this term it has given us a real opportunity to hone in on skills in specific sports, and the rate of individual  progression has been impressive. We would still like pupils to now use these skills in a competitive environment, so next week we will be hosting our very own ECS SCHOOL GAMES. The pupils have all experienced playing tag rugby this term so that is the chosen sport for the festival. The teams will be mixed, there will be various prizes on offer and we are even going to have some match tea afterwards. Lots to look forward to.

Another great week, thank you everyone! Keep up the hard work.
