Beyond Education in the Boarding House

Margot CM (Year 7) is our Star Boarder this week. Margot is known by the whole boarding community as a lovely and kind friend who cares and looks after everyone, whether they are children or adults. Margot always sets an example for all the boarders, and she deserves to be star boarder every week of the year. Well done, Margot.

This week, a group of Year 7 boarders started a community project called Beyond Education with our catering team, Thomas Franks. This week, Margot and Ellenna (Year 7) – the boys were at a rugby fixture – learned how to work in a kitchen and made some delicious macaroni and cheese. This project aims at feeding the community and the food was distributed to the homeless people in Exeter. Well done, girls.

Last Friday we had a Karaoke Night- lots of smiles and laughter! It was a fantastic evening full of fun and surprises. Our best girl performance went to Leia (Year 5), the best boy performance went to Piran (Year 5) and the best duet went to Eliza and Sophie (Year 5). Congratulations!
