Inspired by an art challenge set by the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, three of our pupils set about recreating a famous art work of their choice. Here they have taken one of Frida Kahlo’s portraits and copied it using whatever materials they had at home. I am so impressed with their attention to detail and think they look brilliant! Super work Gen, Ellie May and Ginevra.
I would love more pupils (or parents) to have a go at this challenge for a bit of fun.
You can use yourselves or household items, or your pets! It’s such a great idea and I will be trying to conjure something up over the next week.
There is a link showing some examples so far and you can pick any famous artwork that you like. See more here.
