We’re delighted to share news of the Doddiscombsleigh Art Show and that our very own Head of Art and Design, Mrs Reavill, will be making an appearance!
We asked Mrs Reavill to share a few words about her part in the show:
‘Artists have to apply to exhibit their work and there’s a lot of competition so I was rather proud to be accepted. I have a textiles background and my pieces are mixed media and often include an element of printmaking. The beautiful Cathedral has been an obvious inspiration for some of my work. Also, the breath taking Jurassic coastline and ever changing landscape of Dartmoor have inspired my photography which I use in my artwork too.’
Do go along at support the Art Show, which has been in operation since 2002. There will be some magnificent local art on display and it would be an excellent opportunity to inspire children to think creatively about their natural environment.

26th October – 10am – 5pm
27th October – 10am – 1pm
