A sky full of stars!

Returning to school on Bonfire Night has its compensations as we were greeted by colourful star-like displays as we made our way back to the Boarding House. The children were well-rested and full of stories about all of the wonderful things they had seen and done during the half term holidays but also very pleased to see their friends and clearly looking forward to the weeks ahead.

This half term our star boarders have been Dominik P for always getting his prep done as soon as he gets into boarding and Oscar C for his outstanding back-to-back performances in Performers’ Platforms. Well done to both of you!

Craft activities and team games have formed the backbone of our evening routine with some promising ‘stained glass’ being created and lots of camaraderie and laughter being shared. Needless to say, prep, regular reading and music practice still form part of our evening routine.

Saturday boarding activities (which include a night’s stay in the boarding house) will continue as follows:

02 December Bunker Laser Tag Exeter

09 December Cinema (film tbc) Exeter

If you would like to book a place for your child, please email me ( [email protected] ) by 09h30 on the Wednesday preceding the activity.

All children in the Prep school are very welcome to come and try boarding. The Boarding House is open throughout each term, apart from on the Exeat weekends which are published in the Term Dates on the school’s website. Please contact me ( [email protected] ) for more information.
