What a pleasure it has been to see the smiles on our boarders’ faces this week! The Boarding House has not been the same without them. Their singing, their music playing and their laughter have been received as a blessing this week.
All were extremely happy and excited on Sunday evening when they came back to the Boarding House. We all enjoyed some time together talking about the past couple of months, catching up with friends and settling back into our boarding routines.
We also welcomed back Miss Pyman who is replacing Miss Roberts after her return to Australia at Christmas.
We all enjoyed a beautiful and delicious Boarders Return Buffet cooked by our wonderful catering team.
During the week, and because teachers are not setting any prep for the time being, we have all enjoyed many hours playing games outdoors in the playground, in the gym, in the games room or in the Common Room.
Our Star Boarder for the first week back is Antoine CM (Year 5). He has come back to the Boarding House as if he had never left. As our younger boarder, he has been showing maturity and independence, qualities that we aim to develop in the boarding community. Without being reminded, Antoine has been practising his piano twice daily and has kept his dorm tidy. Well done Antoine!
The Boarding Team wish you a fabulous weekend and cannot wait for our flexi boarders to be back too!
