This week, Year 3 had a special day to celebrate their heroes.
Children dressed as their favourite hero and explained to the rest of the class why this person was an inspiration to them.
We heard about some great heroes: Harry J and Henry P’s respective dads (both doctors); Leia B’s mum and Maria G’s grandmother. Meanwhile, Evie S dressed as Nadia Comaneci (the first gymnast to score a perfect 10 in the Olympics), Edward B dressed Alan Turing and Abigail dressed as Mary Anning.
Some fantastic costumes and very worthy heroes!
