FECS Letter 13th December

Happy Christmas from FECS

We are busy organising a fabulous final Christmas week. Father Christmas and his elves are taking time out of their busy schedule to visit the Headmaster’s Drawing Room at Hall House on Monday 16th December and the children will be having a Christmas party – don’t forget, it’s a mufti day! All children will receive a gift and a party bag courtesy of FECS. And this year, for the first time, Father Christmas will also be visiting Years 3 and 4 in the Chantry Library.

The Junior School pupils enjoyed their movie night a couple of weeks ago and last Friday it was the turn of the Pre-Prep children with the heart-warming film, Arthur Christmas. Thank you to AJ and Mrs Bowles and to all parents who helped on the night – over 30 children came and we had a fantastic evening.

The FECS Christmas Fair raised £1400 for the School. We have just agreed funding for new musical instruments for Hall House and there are exciting plans for next year. Please keep supporting us – all money raised at our events goes towards enhancing your children’s experiences at the School.
A reminder of our forthcoming events:

The FECS Swimathon will take place at midday on 18th January. To enter, children need to have raised a minimum of £5 sponsorship, payable in advance. More details to follow.
