There was much merriment in the Chantry Library on Thursday as ECS celebrated Harry Potter Book Day.
At lunchtime, the Sorting Hat proved extremely popular as did the Quaffle throwing Quidditch competition which was won by Gryffindor. The celebration ended with quiz with questions based on the second book in the Harry Potter series: The Chamber of Secrets.
Other activities included: pin the nose on Voldemort and the scar on Harry Potter, word searches and the opportunity to design your own Hogwarts student.
Some of the children brought in their own wands and there were a few spells thrown in for good measure. Expelliarmus!
