A Portrait of ECS

ECS was delighted to receive a painting by Maria Moraleda, created exclusively for the School in celebration of its choristers. The vibrant painting depicts the school in the heart of the city – with enriching music, singing, art and architecture. It captures the wonderful sense of community, learning and opportunities that ECS offers its choristers. As an artist, Maria has developed a deep love of the choir and the School community and has been inspired to create many works of art in celebration of this. The painting was jointly purchased by the School and the choir families as a gift to current and future choristers and will be displayed in the School.

Presenting the Painting: Left to Right, Mr J. Featherstone, Headmaster, Mr T. Noon, Cathedral Director of Music, Sally Sedgman, long-time supporter of the choristers and hostess of the exhibition, members of the ECS choir and Kris Cooper one of the artists who helped organise the exhibition.
