Nursery Pupils Enjoy Farm-Fresh Fun and Bread-Making

Our Nursery pupils had a fantastic time last week, engaging in a variety of activities that were both educational and enjoyable.

One highlight was a visit to a local farmers’ market. The young learners had the chance to explore a variety of fresh produce and interact with stallholders, practicing their conversational skills. A special thanks to Ambrose Eggs for generously providing free quail and duck eggs for the children to see and learn about.

To complement the week’s theme of “The Little Red Hen and Harvest,” the Nursery class also participated in a bread-making masterclass. This hands-on experience allowed the children to develop essential fine motor skills, such as kneading and shaping dough. These skills are crucial for future tasks like writing and holding utensils.

We are grateful for the opportunities to provide our youngest learners with enriching experiences that foster their growth and development.
