Exeter Cathedral School’s catering providers, Thomas Franks Ltd, have a remarkable initiative: Feeding Communities. The mission? Prepare and deliver hot and cold meals to the UK and Europe’s most vulnerable.
To date they’ve delivered more than 1,000,000 meals, and the school is proud to have helped meet this incredible milestone by offering specially-prepared meals each week to their friends and neighbours on the Cathedral Green, St Petrock’s.
Peter Stephenson, Director of St Petrock’s, writes:
“This partnership with Exeter Cathedral School is a fantastic example of the way the local community supports St Petrock’s. And there is something especially beautiful about the way both the school staff and pupils have played a part over the years in preparing food every week for our homeless clients. These meals always go down a storm and help make life a little bit more bearable for those who have nowhere to call home in our city. A huge “thank you” to everyone involved.”
