What a busy last week it has been for our lovely boarders!
Big Boarding Sleepover
On Friday evening, we had our Upper Years Big Boarding Sleepover and Year 6, 7 and 8 took part in a big karaoke evening in Kalendar Hall. There were some very good performances, especially from Rosie H (Year 7) who stood out with her pop artist costume.
🙌 Adventure Saturday
At the weekend, for our last Adventure Saturday of the term, they all went to Clip n Climb and enjoyed every minute of it.
🍪 Christmas cookies
On Monday, the boarders had a go at making and decorating Christmas cookies.
Not only did they look beautiful, but they also tasted delicious.
On Tuesday, the boarders played a variety of games in the gym whilst listening to some popular Christmas songs.
🍽 Christmas feast
On Wednesday, we had our special Christmas feast and evening in the Boarding House. Thank you to our wonderful catering team from Thomas and Franks for making our Christmas supper so special. We also made the most of it and exchanged presents. It was a lovely evening for all present. There was a real sense of community.
On Thursday evening, it was time to pack and get ready for the holiday.
⭐️ Star Boarder of Michaelmas Term
This week, we decided to reward a boarder for being the kindest, the tidiest, the most hardworking and the best friend to all the boarders. So instead of having a Star Boarder of the week, we decided to make Margot CM (Year 7) our Star Boarder of the Michaelmas Term. Margot embodies perfectly what boarding at ECS is and she deserves to be Star Boarder each week. Well done, Margot.
